WHITE PLAINS, Md. – A driver was taken to the hospital for evaluation Thursday after a vehicle crash sent their car overturning into a pond off St. Charles Parkway near Demarr Road.

Emergency crews were alerted to the incident at 11:32 a.m., May 15, 2025, for a reported vehicle rollover with the car partially submerged in water. The driver, who was the sole occupant, had already self-extricated from the overturned vehicle before fire and EMS arrived.

The driver was transported to UM Charles Regional Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries. The crash briefly disrupted traffic along St. Charles Parkway as authorities investigated and coordinated vehicle removal.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
