Sometime between 2:30 and 9:30 a.m. June 24, suspects attempted to steal a 1996 Ford Crown Victoria from the 3000 block of Prince Albert Square in Waldorf, causing damage to the vehicle’s steering column and ignition.
The suspects stole a Jenson speaker box, a 1200-watt amplifier and 220 music CDs from inside the vehicle before fleeing the scene.

At approximately 9:30 a.m. June 3, Officer J. Timko was patrolling a parking lot the 12000 block of Vivian Adams Drive in Waldorf when he observed a blue 1992 Plymouth Acclaim sedan with a damaged ignition.
Investigation revealed the vehicle was reported stolen in Prince George’s County on May 31. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Charles County Sheriff’s Office at 301-932-7777.
