At 6:30 p.m. on June 9, Officer A. Schwab of the Charles County Sheriff Office conducted a traffic stop in the 13000 block of Shiloh Church Road in Newburg.
Investigation revealed Robert Astoria Holton, 43, of Newburg was driving on a suspended license and was in possession of crack cocaine and drug paraphernalia. He was arrested and charged with possession of crack cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving on a suspended license.
Holton is being held at the Charles County Detention Center pending an appearance before the District Court Commissioner.
