Update — The woman was rescued after about two hours with no serious injuries. According to fire officials, they are waiting for the power company to cut the power from the lines before they can rescue the driver. They say she appears to be fine and has been able to communicate with them. They say the car is being held up by the guide wires for the telephone pole.
MEDINA, Tenn.— First responders in Medina are attempting to rescue a woman after her car became tangled in electrical wires.
Officials say the accident happened on the corner of West Church Street and Second Street around 11:30 p.m. Friday night.
