LEXINGTON PARK, Md. — Celebrate the arrival of spring at the 2025 Cherry Blossom Festival, a vibrant, family-friendly event happening Saturday, March 29, from noon to 4 p.m. at Lexington Manor Passive Park.

Skip the trip to Washington, D.C.—St. Mary’s County offers its own cherry blossoms for a local celebration. With peak bloom expected in late March, according to the National Park Service, this festival provides the perfect opportunity to take in the seasonal beauty right here in Southern Maryland.

Exciting attractions include a sensory tent, disc golf, skateboarding demonstrations, and even a horse-kissing booth. Families can also meet beloved characters Sunny the Squirrel and the Easter Bunny.
