Three Venues, 21 Artists: Now Through March 2014
The Charles County Arts Alliance opened new artshows at the Waldorf West Library, the Charles County Government Building and the University of Maryland Charles Regional Medical Center.
The winter show at the Waldorf West Library, located at 10405 O’Donnell Place, features 19 local artists and 32 artworks in four separate gallery spaces on two floors, including the main conference room on the first floor, and two study rooms and wall space in the Fiction Section on the second floor. The theme is “Artists Choice” and runs until March 28, with a “Meet the Artists” Public Reception on March 22, to honor all the participating artists.
The artists for the Waldorf West Library show are: Theresa Alo, Cindi Barnhart, Patricia Biles, Erin Doyle, Cecelia Dunay, Gale Euchner, Don Faust, Jo Ann Gilhooly, Kylus Harris, Lorina Harris, Ingrid Hayes, Josh Hettel, Gordon Johnson, Belinda Keller, Vicki Marckel, Jamie Oliver, Rebecca Polis, Annabel Lee Russell and Ashley Saldana.
Two new solo shows opened in La Plata. The Commissioners Gallery in the Charles County Government Building, located at 200 Baltimore Street, features paintings by Nancy Owens. Katie Traas’ paintings are displayed at the University of Maryland Charles Regional Medical Center Gallery (located at 5 Garrett Avenue).
