INDIAN HEAD, Md. – The Charles County Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce its 2025 Health & Wellness Expo, a free community event designed to connect residents with resources, services, and information to support their physical, mental, and emotional well-being.
The expo will be held on Saturday, August 16, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the College of Southern Maryland – Velocity Center, located at 4465 Indian Head Highway, Indian Head, MD 20640.
Open to the public and free to attend, this event will feature over 40 wellness vendors, breakout sessions led by local health professionals, hands-on activities, and health screenings. Attendees must register in advance to participate. Registration and full event details are available online at:

Special Highlight: In partnership with sponsor Align Wellness Suite, the expo will offer free sports physicals for students ages 13 and up—a timely service for families preparing for the upcoming school year.
“Our goal is to make wellness resources more accessible to everyone in the community,” said Kathy Guzman, President & CEO of the Charles County Chamber of Commerce. “We are especially excited to bring this event directly to the Town of Indian Head and provide services that support both individual health and community well-being.”
All residents, families, and local businesses are encouraged to attend. Admission is free, but registration is required to ensure adequate accommodations and participation in scheduled activities.
