CHARLES COUNTY, Md. — Crews from the Tenth District Volunteer Fire Department recently spent two hours working to control a structure fire in Charles County.

At approximately 6:30 a.m. on January 13, first responders were called to the scene on Huntt Road for the reported structure fire. 

Engine 8-3 arrived behind Engine 20-1 and discovered a garage that was fully involved with fire, and was housing several vehicles. Crews worked diligently to extinguish the flames and minimized damages to the surrounding area.

The total response time on the scene was approximately two hours.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation. No injuries have been reported at this time.
