The Charles County Commissioners on May 13 presented proclamation #2014-14, designating the week of May 18–24 as Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Week in Charles County. EMS is a vital public service, and EMS teams are ready to provide life-saving care to those in need 24 hours a day, seven days a week. EMS Week brings together local communities and medical personnel to publicize safety and to honor the dedication of those who provide the day-to-day life-saving services of medicine’s “front line.”
