BURGLARY: On Dec. 24 at 2:50 a.m., officers responded to the 12000 block of Walker Place in Waldorf for the report of suspicious activity. The homeowners heard loud noises from their backyard and could hear someone trying to get inside their house. When officers arrived, they noticed a back window had been shattered and it appeared someone gained entry into the house; however, nothing was reported stolen. Officer G.M. Cook is investigating.
ARMED ROBBERY: On Dec. 23 at 9:56 p.m., two unknown suspects entered the Bryantown Store located at 6435 Leonardtown Road in Bryantown, pulled guns and demanded money. The clerks complied and the suspects fled. No one was injured. Officers and a K9 team canvassed the area and it appeared the suspects fled in a car which was parked nearby. Detective Hemsley is investigating.
BURGLARY: On Dec. 20 at 10:14 a.m., officers responded to the 10500 block of South Faulkner Road in Faulkner for the report of a burglary in progress. When officers arrived, they checked a nearby shed the homeowner thought someone had broken into. No one was in the shed; however, the door had been pried open and several items were stolen. Officer R. McMullen is investigating.
