HOLLYWOOD, Md. — Two people were injured Thursday morning in a crash at Three Notch Road and Hollywood Road, with one patient flown to a regional trauma center.
Emergency crews were dispatched at approximately 9:13 a.m. Aug. 13 for a motor vehicle collision with injuries.
The crash involved a Charlotte Hall Veterans Home van and a four-door sedan.
EMS evaluated two occupants at the scene. One patient was transported by ambulance to the hangar at St. Mary’s County Regional Airport.
Maryland State Police Aviation Command Trooper 7 then flew that patient to the UM Capital Region Medical Center.
A second patient was transported by ambulance to MedStar St. Mary’s Hospital.
Police are investigating the crash.
