PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. – On October 30, 2021, 58 volunteers were inducted as Charter members of the Maryland Fire Chief’s Association Hall of Fame. This elite group includes Prince Frederick Volunteer Fire Department (PFVFD) past chief Timothy Delehanty.

There were many more recipients in 2021 than previously, mainly because the pandemic prevented the ceremony from moving forward in the months prior. Every member who was honored during the ceremony was also added to the official plaque.

The official Facebook account for the Maryland Fire Chief’s Association said: “It was a great turnout of inductees and their families, as well as MFCA members. Congratulations to all the charter members on your well deserved honor!”

PFVFD would like to congratulate Chief Delehanty on all of his tremendous accomplishments over the years. His dedication and passion to the fire service is inspiring and we are grateful for his contributions.
