On Jan. 6 at 9:03 p.m., officers responded to the parking lot of Choo Choo’s Lounge located at 3390 Leonardtown Road in Waldorf, after receiving a report of an impaired driver.
Officers found the vehicle and subsequently arrested the driver after he failed several sobriety tests. The driver, Jimmy Michael Thornwell, 23 of Brandywine, was charged with driving while intoxicated. Officer J. Hudson made the arrest.
