ANNAPOLIS, Md. —A 58-year-old Annapolis man was arrested and charged after allegedly pointing a handgun at three 12-year-old girls who were Christmas caroling in his neighborhood Saturday night, according to Anne Arundel County police.

Southern District officers were called at 9:10 p.m. Nov. 22, 2025, to the 1700 block of Point No Point Drive for a reported assault that had occurred about 8:30 p.m.

According to investigators, three juvenile female victims were going door to door singing Christmas carols when a man inside one of the homes pointed a firearm at them from a window. Officers identified the suspect, took him into custody and recovered a .40-caliber Glock handgun.

The suspect, identified as Paul Brian Susie of Annapolis, is charged with three counts of first-degree assault, three counts of second-degree assault, three counts of reckless endangerment and one count of wearing or carrying a handgun while under the influence.

Court records show Susie was released on an unsecured $10,000 personal bond following a bail review on Nov. 23.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 8:45 a.m. Dec. 17 in Annapolis District Court.

  1. The kids thought they were funny it was a prank gone wrong that man did nothing wrong stay off his property and do not sing Christmas songs in November, lets get past Thanksgiving first.

  2. Hey there Grinchy, it’s ok for kids to spread joy last I checked. Unless there are signs around the home to KEEP OFF or STAY OUT or PRIVATE PROPERTY visible for the carolers to see before they get to his door, this guy is just a little quick or paranoid to be pulling out firearms.
