At 9:45 p.m. May 9, Charles County Sheriff’s officers responded to the report of an armed robbery that occurred on the trail behind Lancaster Circle in Waldorf.
Investigation revealed a 15-year-old Waldorf boy was walking on the trail when a group of four or five suspects described only as black males approached him and knocked him to the ground.
The suspects stole his money, cell phone and iPod and fled the scene on foot. The victim sustained minor injuries.

At 7:11 p.m. May 8, Charles County Sheriff’s officers responded to the parking lot of Holiday Liquors located at 3385 Leonardtown Road in Waldorf for the report of the armed robbery of a citizen.
The investigation revealed a 21-year-old Waldorf woman was walking behind the business when a male suspect approached her and demanded her cell phone. When she refused to comply, he brandished a handgun.
The suspect stole the victim’s cell phone and money and fled toward Post Office Road. Officers searched the area but the suspect was not located. The suspect is described as a black male about 6 feet tall with a thin build. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with a gray skull printed on the back, black pants and black shoes with yellow soles.
