UPDATE – 2/8/2022 – The Clements Convenience Center has returned to full-service operations and is once again able to accept single-stream recyclable items such as metals, cardboard, paper, and plastics.

The Clements Convenience centers is open Monday-Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

UPDATE – Following a closure for equipment replacement and repair, the Clements Convenience Center has reopened with most services and operations. The single-stream recycling equipment is still not working but a temporary container has been provided to collect recycle items such as metals, cardboard, paper, and plastics.
The convenience center is located at 24547 Horseshoe Road in Clements and is open Monday-Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 5p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.


LEONARDTOWN, Md. – Due to equipment failure, the Clements Convenience Center located at 24547 Horseshoe Road in Clements will close early Sunday, Jan. 2, 2022, and will remain closed until further notice.

The Department of Public Works & Transportation is working with the contractor to secure replacement equipment and to reopen as soon as possible. We regret any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding.
