11:45 a.m. — Due to the inclement weather the Lexington Park Library will be closed today Sunday, December 8.
2:30 p.m. The St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office reported that due to the current weather conditions, the Silent Angel Memorial has been cancelled for this evening. The service was scheduled for 6 p.m. at the Bay District Fire Department. An alternate date will be announced later.
The St. Mary’s County Department of Recreation and Parks closied the Great Mills Swimming Pool at 5 p.m. today due to the inclement weather.
