On Jan. 26, at 2:59 a.m., Sherman Deavon Bush, 34 of Lexington Park, was arrested by Cpl. M. Laney for possession of cocaine, marijuana and CDS paraphernalia.  

Bush was a passenger in a green Acura Integra when it was stopped on Suburban Drive off Great Mills Road in Lexington Park for a traffic violation.  Upon contact with the passenger, Bush, a small plastic baggie of marijuana was observed in plain view on the floor by Bush’s foot.  Bush was taken into custody and placed under arrest.  Once at the Detention Center, Bush was found to also be in possession of cocaine concealed in his left boot.  

Bush was held at the Detention Center pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.
