The Charles County Commissioners are seeking written comments on a draft Easement Sale Prioritization System for the Maryland Agricultural Land Preservation Foundation (MALPF) that will rank MALPF easement applications to ensure that Federal, State and County funds are used to purchase Agricultural Land Conservation Easements on properties with the highest potential for food and fiber production and maintenance of critical mass of farmland for future production. This draft Prioritization System is also formulated to meet State and Federal funding agency guidelines.
