On Tuesday, April 4, the County Commissioner recognized the month of April 2017 as National Financial Literacy Month in Charles County. Southern Maryland Tri-County Community Action Committee is a non-profit community action agency whose mission is to provide Charles County residents with services that alleviate the causes and conditions of poverty, promote upward mobility, and enrich quality of life. The Commissioners urge residents to become financially literate, and utilize the financial education resources within our community.
