On Tuesday, June 6, the Board of Commissioners participated in a special open house celebrating the Charles County Charitable Trust’s first year of operation. Incorporated in June 2016, the Charitable Trust serves as a central source of information and assistance for the county’s growing nonprofit sector.
It has taken on the management of the county’s annual nonprofit grants award program and has launched a first-ever study of the sector’s economic and social impact on the community.
