Nanjemoy, MD — Site Link Wireless is asking Charles County for a special exception use in order to build a 180-foot telecommunications tower in Nanjemoy.
Currently, tower height is limited to 50 feet tall. Site Link wants to build a telecommunication facility with a 180-foot monopole tower enclosed in a 50′ by 50′ fenced compound. The project would be on 72.32 acres that are zoned Agricultural Conservation at 8700 Ironsides Road in Nanjemoy.
There will be a public hearing on the matter, Tuesday, September 10 at 7 p.m. in the Commissioners Meeting Room of the Charles County Government Building in La Plata.
