CHESAPEAKE BEACH, Md. – On Feb. 19, the Calvert County Sheriff’s Office Crime Suppression Unit conducted a traffic stop at Bayside Road at Ponds Wood Drive, Chesapeake Beach.
During the stop a positive K-9 alert led to a search of the vehicle. The search resulted in the recovery of 4.7 grams of powder cocaine, 10 grams of crack cocaine, 30.1 grams of marijuana, and, CDS Paraphernalia. The driver, Naheem Malik Scott , a 21 year old male of Annapolis, was arrested for possession with the intent to distribute the same.
Sheriff Mike Evans reiterated, “The illegal narcotics in Calvert County remains a priority and the deputies will continue to allocate resources to find and arrest those responsible.”
