At 11:17 a.m. on Dec. 7 , a Pontiac Grand Prix driven by Richard Eugene Drennan, 36, of Indian Head was traveling south on St. Patrick’s Drive in Waldorf. As the vehicle approached the intersection of Smallwood Drive, the driver failed to stop for traffic signal and struck a Toyota Corolla traveling east on Smallwood Drive.
The driver of the Corolla, Sandra Creighton, 65, of Waldorf, sustained incapacitating injuries and was transported to Civista Medical Center. Drennan sustained a minor injury and was not transported for treatment.
No charges have been filed. Officer R. D. Snyder is investigating the crash.
