Bel Alton, MD – Shortly before 8 p.m. Charles County authorities reported a single-vehicle crash on Crain Highway near the Bel Alton Motel. Police report the vehicle struck a pole. One person with critical injuries is being flown to a regional trauma center. Motorists bound for the area should expect delays.
