On April 20, at 2:06 a.m., deputies responded to a residence in Avenue, for the report of a burglary.
Investigation revealed the victim was awakened by a loud banging sound coming from the downstairs area of the residence. Upon checking the residence the victim discovered the door to the residence had been forced open and a purse removed from a counter. The unknown suspect(s) fled the residence prior to the victim checking the residence.
