Charles County Sheriffโ€™s detectives assigned to the Criminal Investigations Division have obtained an arrest warrant charging Harold Dean Rogers, 45, of no fixed address, in connection with an armed robbery of an employee at a gas station. A tip to Charles County Crime Solvers led detectives to Rogersโ€™ identity.

On April 23 at 8:45 p.m., a lone male suspect entered the Shell gas station located in the 3100 block of Crain Highway in Waldorf, displayed a knife and demanded money. The clerk complied and the suspect fled.ย ย 

Detectives obtained security footage which showed the suspect committing the robbery but at the time, the suspectโ€™s identity was unknown. Surveillance photos were released and detectives subsequently received a tip through the Crime Solvers tip line identifying Rogers as the suspect.

An arrest warrant was obtained charging Rogers with armed robbery and detectives are seeking his whereabouts. Rogers is a white male, 5โ€™10โ€, 260 lbs., with blue eyes. He is known to frequent the Baltimore area. Anyone with information is asked to call the Charles County Sheriffโ€™s Office at (301) 932-2222.
