AVENUE, Md. – The St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing woman: Elvira Parutta Hood, 84, was last seen at approximately 11 p.m. on April 19 in the area of Oakley Road in Avenue.
Hood is a white female, 5 feet 9 inches tall, and weighs approximately 132 pounds.
She has dementia, which increases concern for her safety. Her clothing description is unknown at this time, but she may be wearing blue jeans and a shirt.
Anyone who sees Elvira Parutta Hood or has information on her whereabouts is asked to contact the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office immediately at 301-475-8008 or call 911.
