At 4:05 p.m. March 31, Charles County Sheriff’s officers from the Community Policing Unit were investigating complaints of drug activity in the 12000 block of Idlewood Park Drive in Waldorf.
A large group of juveniles were in the area and when officers approached them, they observed a juvenile throw a bag on the ground that contained crack cocaine.
The 17-year-old Waldorf boy was charged with possession of crack cocaine and possession with the intent to distribute crack cocaine.
He is being held at the Cheltenham Youth Facility pending an appearance before the Juvenile Court. Cpl. C. Smith investigated.
