Maryland State Fire Marshall’s are investigating a house fire in Waldorf that has left close to $10,000.00 in damage.
Over 40 firefighters from Waldorf, LaPlata, Westlake, Hughesvile, Baden, Accokeek, and Brandywine responded to the 4600 block of Scottsdale Place around 2 p.m. on July 5 for report of a fire in a 3 story townhome.
Crews arrived on the scene to discover fire on the second story of the home on an exterior deck. The fire was quickly brought under control.
No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
