WALDORF, Md. — A Delaware man is facing charges in Charles County after prosecutors accused him of stealing jewelry from Walmart and damaging a jewelry cabinet in 2024, according to court documents.
Keegan Dolan, 47, of Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, is charged with theft of $100 to under $1,500 and malicious destruction of property valued at less than $1,000.
The case stems from an incident on or about Nov. 6, 2024, in Charles County. Charging documents allege Dolan stole jewelry belonging to Walmart Inc. with a value of at least $100 but less than $1,500.
A second count alleges Dolan willfully and maliciously destroyed, injured or defaced a Walmart jewelry cabinet, with damage valued at less than $1,000.
The charging document was filed as a criminal information by Anthony B. Covington, State’s Attorney for Charles County.
Court records list a bench warrant in the case, with a warrant recommended or ordered on June 3, 2026, by Judge Patrick J. Devine. Bond information from the same date lists Dolan as held without bond.
A criminal summons was later issued June 5, 2026, ordering Dolan to appear for a preliminary inquiry.
A preliminary inquiry is set for July 20 in Charles County District Court.
