CHARLOTTE HALL, Md. – Emergency crews responded Saturday afternoon to a dirt bike crash in a wooded area off Kingston Place in Charlotte Hall, where a 25‑year‑old man was injured and required assistance from multiple agencies to reach a safe location for treatment.

The incident was reported at 12:50 p.m., with callers advising that the rider went down in an area that was inaccessible. Additional information indicated the patient had suffered a deep leg laceration, and someone on scene would guide the responders into the woods to the crash site.

Units from several stations were dispatched at 12:55 p.m., including rescue, EMS, and command personnel. Crews reached the area and coordinated access into the wooded location. At 1:09 p.m., command reported that the patient had been successfully removed from the woods and brought to an accessible area for EMS evaluation.

Paramedics transported the patient to St. Mary’s Hospital, and no additional injuries were reported.
