While searching the garage, crews located a dog unconscious and showing signs of smoke inhalation. Medics immediately used specially designed animal CPR masks to administer aid. The dog was successfully revived on scene.

The animal was then reunited with its family and is expected to receive further evaluation and care from a veterinarian.

No injuries to firefighters or residents were reported. The cause of the fire was not immediately released.
