Donkeys Steal the Show During FUNdraiser!

This past Saturday, Sept. 12, two teams from Mechanicsville Volunteer Rescue squad played teams from Lexington Park Rescue and Hollywood Volunteer Fire Departments. It was a softball game with a kicker; actually quite a few kickers. The game was donkey softball with heehaws and guffaws all around.

The audience was treated to a lot of jumping shenanigans and antics as players had to run the bases on board a donkey; some more stubborn than others, much  to the delight of the fans.

Between games, during the intermission the fun and excitement continued with a hilarious game of musical donkeys. TheBAYNET.com was there to record all the fun during this fundraiser for Mechanicsville’s Rescue operations. Enjoy!
