LA PLATA, Md. – It’s time to start training for the Town of La Plata Bed Races. Bed Races take place on Saturday, April 28, at 3:00 p.m. as part of the Celebrate La Plata event. Your team will race on La Grange Ave as the crowd cheers you on.
It’s easy to participate – no registration fee and the Town has beds that can be used for the races. Get your creative juices flowing and make your own team bed! Each team must have four participants that are 16 years or older. Don’t miss out on the chance to come dressed in team t-shirts or costumes to promote your business or organization. The annual bed race is a great way to do some marketing while having a lot of fun. Prizes will be awarded to the top teams and best team attire.
