At 11:50 p.m. on January 12, TFC Brooks was at a residence in the area of Lake Drive and Barreda Blvd., in Lusby, serving a criminal summons.
As he was about to enter his vehicle, he observed a vehicle drive by a house on Barreda Blvd. and shoot it numerous times with a paintgun. TFC Brooks pursued the vehicle and stopped it on Rousby Hall Road.
Two paintguns were recovered from the vehicle. Arrested at that time for destruction of property (-$500) were Matthew David Griffiths, 21, of Lusby, Blake Charles Edington, 18, of Lusby, and a 17-year-old male, of Lusby.
The juvenile was also charged with possession of marijuana, after a baggie of suspected marijuana was discovered. He was released to a parent after processing.
Mr. Griffiths and Mr. Edington were transported to the CCDC to await a commissioner’s hearing.
