At 7:18 p.m. June 8, Dfc. Eric Basham of the Calvert County Sheriff’s Office made a traffic stop for speeding on Rte. 4 in Dunkirk.
The driver and passenger were both asked to exit the vehicle and consent to search their person was obtained.
Dfc. Basham discovered cocaine in the pocket of the passenger, Joshua L. Dellinger, 21, of Dunkirk.
He was arrested and charged with possession of cocaine.
