Driver Pulled Over for Following too Closely Turns out to be Suspended and Carrying Pot

On Tuesday, October 4, 2005 at 4:00 pm TFC Linger observed a vehicle following another vehicle too closely southbound Route 235 at Friendship School Road.

The vehicle was stopped and the driver identified as Matthew Allen Prinsen, 20, of Hollywood.

A check through MVA showed Mr. Prinsen’s driving privilege was suspended. He was arrested.

A search of the vehicle, incident to arrest, discovered CDS residue in the ashtray and a bag of marijuana under the front passenger seat. Mr. Prinsen was charged with Possession of Marijuana and Possession of CDS paraphernalia.
