Callaway, MD — Judging from a report by the St. Mary’s Sheriff’s Office, a driver was in no shape to be behind the wheel when deputies caught up to him on September 10.
A deputy noticed a vehicle stopped in the middle of Point Lookout Road and went to investigate.
He found the driver, Sean Eugene Alexander Triplett, age 34 of Tennessee, slumped over the wheel of the vehicle.
The deputy determined Triplett was operating the vehicle under the influence of alcohol and tried to place him under arrest.
Triplett began to pull away from the deputy and attempted to flee the area.
Triplett was arrested and charged with Resisting Arrest, Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol and Driving While Impaired by Alcohol.
