On August 6, at 9:39 p.m., TFC N. E. Gresko conducted a traffic stop on a black Volkswagen Jetta in the area of Maryland Route 235 and Sandy Bottom Road for a traffic violation.
Upon making contact with the driver, Andrew Joseph Isaza, 21 of La Plata, a METERS/NCIC query revealed that Isaza did not have valid drivers license. Isaza was placed under arrest for Driving Without a License.
A search incident to the arrest also revealed CDS on Isaza’s person. Andrew Isaza was transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center and charged with Driving Without a License and Possession of Marijuana. He was held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.
