The St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office will be conducting a Sobriety Checkpoint Operation in St. Mary’s County on August 10th in support of the National Traffic Safety Administration’s “Checkpoint Strikeforce” initiative.
Every vehicle that enters the checkpoint will be stopped and checked for impaired drivers.
The Sheriff’s Office is dedicated to making our roads safe and free of intoxicated and drugged drivers and to educating the citizens on the dangers of driving while impaired.
