Update: According to Sources the accident involved a single vehicle hitting a utility pole and crews replaced the pole causing the extended closure.
St. Leonard Md. March 18 2 am. A reported motor vehicle accident has prompted police to close the area of Broomes Island Rd at Mackall Rd.
Police are advising the closure should be expected to last a few hours.
