
NANJEMOY, Md. — A crash alert from a mobile app, along with a report from a passing motorist, helped prompt an early morning emergency response Monday after a vehicle overturned along Port Tobacco Road in Nanjemoy.
The crash was reported around 3:05 a.m. on April 27, 2026, in the area of Port Tobacco Road and Lynch Road. Dispatchers received a crash notification, believed to be from a Life360 alert, indicating a possible collision, along with reports of a vehicle overturned in the roadway.
When crews arrived, they located a white truck overturned, with a man sitting outside the vehicle.
One patient was transported by ambulance to Charles Regional Medical Center for treatment. The extent of injuries has not been released.
Emergency personnel remained on scene for a period of time to secure the area and investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
