
LEXINGTON PARK, Md. – Police launched an extensive search this afternoon for multiple victims after several 911 calls for the large fight and shooting.

At approximately 2:56 p.m., on April 9, 2021, police, fire and rescue personnel responded to the call for five subjects shot in the area of Rogers Drive and Flower Drive in Lexington Park.

Several ambulances from surrounding departments responded to the scene. MSPAC Trooper 7 was also requested to help with the search. Crews reported no victims or evidence of a shooting were located after searching for approximately 40 minutes, emergency units returned to service.

Police reported an individual in the area who was wanted on an outstanding warrant (not related to the original call received); that was the only arrest made in the area of the incident. No suspects have been arrested.

Police are currently investigating the incident. We will continue to provide updates as they become available.
