HOLLYWOOD, Md. — The Southern Maryland Volunteer Firemen’s Association will host its Antique Fire Apparatus Muster on Sunday, Oct. 19, 2025, at the Hollywood Volunteer Fire Department. The family-friendly event will run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 24801 Three Notch Road.
The muster will showcase antique and modern fire apparatus side by side, giving visitors a chance to see how fire service technology has evolved over the years. Highlights include antique fire apparatus displays, modern equipment exhibits and side-by-side comparisons of past and present technology.

The day will also feature a flea market with firefighting memorabilia, food and refreshments, and live demonstrations. Judging for apparatus entries begins at 11:30 a.m., with awards and participation plaques presented afterward. Organizers said the event will take place rain or shine.
Vendors offering firefighting items and memorabilia are expected to participate, with limited spaces available. While there is no fee for participation, donations to the Southern Maryland Volunteer Firemen’s Association are encouraged.
The Antique Fire Apparatus Muster is open to the public.
