BUSHWOOD, Md. — Last night in Seventh District, units were dispatched to an accident which resulted in one person being sent to the hospital.
At approximately 9:45 p.m. on Feb. 27, the Seventh District Volunteer Fire Department, Seventh District Volunteer Rescue Squad, and the Leonardtown Volunteer Rescue Squad responded to the area of Owens Drive within the Longview Beach community. Upon arrival at the scene, units discovered an overturned golf cart which had ejected the driver, leaving them injured.
There were no other vehicles or golf carts involved in the accident, and there were no other injuries reported.
The patient was eventually transported to Medstar St. Mary’s Hospital for treatment
