Annmarie Garden invites the public to purchase tickets for their first Halloween Ball to be held Saturday, Oct. 25 at 7:30 p.m., until the witching hour.
The Main Gallery of the spectacular new Arts Building, the setting for the Ball, will be transformed into a hauntingly elegant venue featuring devilishly good food and drink, a signature cocktail, door prizes and dancing to the tunes of DJ “Dracula Dan.” Dark attire or costumes are encouraged with prizes awarded for best costumes.
The Halloween Ball will feature an unusual auction, the centerpiece of which will be mirrors designed and embellished by local celebrities and artists. The auction will also include fine art, handmade jewelry, vacation getaways, and much more. The Ball will also be the opening night for a new exhibit in the Mezzanine Gallery, Sailor Made: the art of the woolie, an exceptional collection of 19th century folk art created by sailors.
