At 2:15 p.m. Aug. 27, Charles County Sheriff’s officers responded to Wal-Mart located at 11930 Acton Lane in Waldorf for the report of an armed robbery.
Investigation revealed a male suspect attempted to leave the store with a computer monitor he had not paid for. An employee attempted to stop him but he pointed a stun gun at her. The employee retreated and the suspect fled in a vehicle driven by another person.
The suspect vehicle is described as a tan Ford coupe. Officers later discovered the vehicle had been stolen in Anne Arundel County.
The suspect is described only as a white male. The driver of the suspect vehicle is described as a heavy-set white male.
