On Oct. 10 at 12:33 p.m., Ryan Andrew Murray, 23 of Mechanicsville, was arrested by Tpr. M. Pitcher for second-degree assault.
Tpr. Pitcher responded to the 41000 block of Alvey Stone Lane in Mechanicsville for the reported disturbance.
Upon arrival, contact was made with the female victim, 18 of Mechanicsville, who advised she had been assaulted by Murray.
During the course of the investigation both parties were interviewed and it was determined that Murray did assault the victim. Murray was taken into custody and transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center where he was detained pending a bond review.
