Shortly after 7 p.m. Sunday, Bay District Volunteer Firefighters responded to a fire at Sanner’s Lake Sportman Club.

Firefighters found the skeet shooting range building ablaze and doused the flames with foam.

The fire damaged a two-story shed, a fence, a trap valued at $3,000 and a stock of clay pigeons, which let off yellow smoke when smoldering.

Firefighters cleared the scene is just over and hour.
